About

I read to live and I live to read. That’s my circle of life.

There are so many books out there that I want to read, but it’s hard to know where to start. So, this blog will not only let others know what I’m reading, but will hopefully provide me with suggested reads based on the types of books I have read. It’s also just to talk about books, as being a member of the nerdfighter community, my job is to help spread awesome, and nothing is more awesome than a good book . . . well I guess world peace and no more hunger are pretty awesome too, but lets take it one step at a time.

So, I hope you find this helpful and interesting, and if you don’t, that’s okay. Not everyone is into books as much as I am, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just know that you are missing out on an entire world that is full of unexpected and amazing things!

DFTBA,

Book Nerd

  1. Just so you all know, I just started this blog, and the only other blogging I have done is for class, so I’m sorta learning as I go along. I hope you enjoy it anyway, and get ideas for which books you will decide to read next 🙂

  2. Alas, I am not a philosopher, only one who enjoys tackling and analyzing the hypothetical possibilities conjured up by the mind. In short, I am nothing more than a nerd 😉

  3. One must think in a fresh way. It does not matter what Socrates says or what Aristotle says. We must look into a question with our own eyes, not through any other person’s philosophy or theory. What do you say about it?

    • I agree with your proposal, but just like in any other field of study, it’s best to know where other minds have been so as to avoid ‘stepping on their toes’, so to speak. Personally, I am of a religious orientation, although not to the point that I am willing to close my eyes to any other possible explanations regarding the human existence.
